We as humans and Christians that walk the
earth must learn to be submissive to the Will of Almighty God. We think
we control so many things and events and that we make the final
decisions. No, the final and ultimate decisions of this world is
made by God. His will be done. Yes, we have to make one great choice.
To serve Him or to deny Him. That is in our power. But through His great
providence, He is directing all and His goal is the greatest number of
saved souls.
So, tonight as you wind down and prepare for bed. Think on this. Submit yourselves unto Him, who knows all and sees all, and understands all, the Almighty.
James 4:7-10
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
